Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to use a safe input in a program?
I would like to use a command like wait SFDI1=ON
Or is there a way in DCS we can use a Safe input and activate a DO with it?
Thanks you

I/O
Inteconnect
SI ---> DO
thank you!
I enable SI1--->DO5
and SI2--->DO6
But they don't turn on when the corresponding SFDI is on
I notice that i can't no longer set these 2 output to on in digital I/O monitoring
i'm i missing something?
HI
I dont have a Fanuc with me right now
Im trying to recreate the issue with simulation but is hard
Note On the sim the SI are always ON, maybe the work opposite when driving a DO
Try to turn SI OFF and see what happens with DO
doesn't work..
You can map regular IO to rack 36 to access all the safe IOs.
I am not sure if you need the safe IO connect option. I always have it with DCS.
I tried on roboguide without safe IO connect. It worked. Worth to try on real controller.
i'm not sure if it's what you mean but i went in I/O digital config, and set the #3 DO range [33- 512] to rack 36 slot1 start1 and it say it is invalid
Probably you assigned too many DO points to safety input.
If you use the safety input on the e-stop board, you have only 8 valid points on rack36 slot1 which are SPI points. So try to configure only a couple of IOs to it.
By the way, I always use DI instead of DO.
It work!
You guys, are awesome!
Good!
Just one quick question: do you have DCS safe io connect option loaded?
Want to know if the io mapping works without it on real controller.
yes i have
