You should have it. The Pause was even on ERC.
1. If not already in Teach mode, press TEACH on the Playback Box.
2. Move the cursor to the address side of the screen on the line above where the PAUSE instruction is to be inserted.
3. Press EDIT.
4. Press CONTROL (F2).
5. Press the ARROW UP soft key.
6. Press PAUSE (F4) and verify the instruction on the editing buffer line.
7. Press [INSERT] ENTER to insert the Pause into the job.
Check your language level though. If you are in SUBSET language, you may not have the pause command.
MRC - press CUST, then LANG. Choose STANDARD or EXPANDED.
XRC, NX100, DX100 - from TOP MENU or MAIN MENU, choose SETUP then TEACHING CONDITIONS. You should find the language level there.
By changing language level to EXPANDED that won't effect anything will it? (I.E Job errors or anything)
Thanks.
Ok to recap.
I've checked the program language and it's set to EXPANDED
When I goto CONTROL these are my options. (see attached)
Thoughts?
hmmm.... that's a weird one. Haven't seen this before.
What software version is on this MRC robot?
Hi , see attached the Soft Tree for MRC ,page A-44, it appears your "Pause" & several options have been replaced
with the "Concurrent Job" instruction set. Try disabling CJ if your not using it, can't have both I would suggest.
"Soft Key Tree" was not used after MRC - a great loss
BwillieS, is this an MRC dual cell? If so, you will probably need the CONCURRENT job option to PSTART and PWAIT your jobs.
Single robot with 2 positioners.
Not sure if it's using PSTARTs / PWAITs in any of the jobs... can't see why there would be.
One other thing to try:
- change your language level to expanded
- power down and power back up
- see if PAUSE then appears under CONTROL
Just a suggestion that was made to me.... let me know if it works.
I'm already set to EXPANDED. is it worth setting it to STANDARD.
- Power down.
- Check to see if it's there, if not change to EXPANDED
- Power down.
- Cross fingers that it comes up?
By changing back and forth between them will the effect my jobs? As in some commands may no longer work because of the level i'm in?
Thanks,

Changing the language level does not change anything with the existing jobs. All language level does is limit the number of instructions in the Inform List in Subset. Changing to Standard will show the majority of instructions in the Inform List. Changing to Expanded shows the full Inform List and gives the ability to use local variables and indirect addressing.
All of this has to do with adding new instructions to a job and will not change existing job instructions.
I have just "reconfirmed" ,with MRC -K10 , that if you Disable the "P start " or "Concurrent Job" Function
your Pause & C wait will come back .
