I have a IRB1600 and a fronius tps 5000
and ABB Arcware.
My problem is that the arc is not ignited because it some times starts on a tackweld.
I know that you can use the function scrape start but my robot stands still at the same point and tries to ignite again.
I want the robot to retract wire and to move forward 1-2 mm in path direction and try to ignite the arc again.

Hello
Another problem.
I have a multimove,multitask station.
With two IRB 1600 welding robots and fronius tps welding machines.
The problem is when both robot 1 and robot 2 is welding and robot 1 or robot 2 collides against the workpiece.
Both robots stops that's fine.
But when i have fixed the problem with the faulty robot.
And start the process again the robot that did not collide just stands still with the arc ignited and dose not move forward in path direction.
The program is semicordinated with Wait sync task. -
Interesting,
This problem happen vice-versa? Whatever what robot that collided?
Have you set the restart distance, restart on? How many time will it try again?
When occurs the faulty, both welding machine stay in "STOP" ? Is welding machine using ROB5000 or fieldbus?
