Does anyone out the happen to have a 3d model of a Kuka KR30-2? I have a donated robot and I'm exploring how to program it for milling with open-source software. Thanks

CAD models are available on the KUKA website.
Do you have a controller as well or just the robot?

Which software are you planning to use?
The cheapest one i found is Sprutcam -
My organization is non-profit so we're trying to get software donated. I'm also looking at the Kuka PRC+Grasshopper+Rhinocerous. That may involve a lot more studying but the price is cheep cheep cheep!

I joined one of class about Kuka PRC+grasshopper+rhinocerous and this is probably best for organization like yours. its still missing some point but they are trying to improve all the time. I compared it with the software which my company developed and I can say that "Kuka PRC+grasshopper+rhinocerous" is perfect match for you.

If you know GH very well then you can create your own definitions for your robot combined with almost any CAM software for Robot Milling.
I have tried sprutcam + PRC and output SRC file to my robot, worked perfectly, continuos movement, my uploaded video:
