I have a kuka KSD1-48 servo driver and i'm attempting to establish ethercat communication between the device and an NI-cRIO controller. Although i am powering the KSD using a 24V supply, the ethernet ports appear to be off. Do i need to also power the DC bus inputs (UG+/-) or is this more of an on-board software issue, or neither? If anyone knows where i'd be able to obtain a user manual, that would be really helpful as well
Apart from actually powering the ethernet port, i will also need the EtherCat profile for the device. How would i go about obtaining this, and if not, would it be possible to use a profile from another device with some minor tweaking?
