I'm using a Sony XC-56 camera with a Fujinon HF 12.5 HA-1B 1:1.4/12.5mm lense with a Lr Mate R30IA controller. I have setup the IR VISION and have it working well.
But, I was having some shadowing problems so I added a Smart Vision Light R130 LED IR ring light and an IR filter on my camera. Now I cannot get the camera to focus on the part. But it is very close to being in focus and it's close enough that the IR VISION software will find my parts but I feel the lack of focus will bite me in the butt in the future.
I have read about the IR corrective lenses but have no idea how to spec the right one for my camera. Any help I can get on this topic would be appreciated.

How do I find the controller IP address?

Does it take special software? Thank you for the quick reply.

Can IR VISION be setup on the teach pendant or do you have to use the ethernet link on a R30IA controller?

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to type in mixed logic with a parameter.

That was it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have a r30ia controler and I have checked the status of the safety devices and all looks good. when I try to run in auto I get a syst-009 fence open alarm. Note, no PLC.

UI:2 GOES OFF (ACTUALLY GOES ON - OFF= IS NORMAL ON) WITH START BUTTON JUST AS IT SHOULD. NOTE, I AM TESTING IN TP-ON MODE.

Got it! Thanks for your help.
New question, I have a flag in my back ground program F2 that flags UI2: hold and I turn it on when DI:102 safety scanner warning goes to off.
Everything is working as I intended but now if I turn the Back Ground program off it still works as planned. What is up with that? Thanks again for your help. This stuff is tuff to figure out for a green horn without this forum. -
Thanks, I figure it out. I was setting the config up to use UI/UO. I have mapped flags to them and the values were changing with the input I am monitoring but it wasn't actually working. I was trying to do a "HOLD" (ui:2). So, I have that changed and now I'm getting a MCTL-013 alarm. Any idea what that is? Thank you very much for your help.

It is not there. Line 8 is greyed out.

I need to see the system variables on a Fanuc lrmate r30ia that i purchased used but when I go to the Menus I don't see system variables. I'm assuming it would be under line 8 but it is grayed out. Thanks to anyone that can help.

I'm a Newbie in need of assistance with a back ground program for a lrmate R30ia. Below is my stab at it. I have a UOP with a start and hold button and I'm using a Sick safety scanner and need to Hold, output to a stack light pulse red, output to a buzzer. I want to return to normal when scanner warning di = off. Be kind, I'm new at this.

Thank you for the quick response. The reason that I thought I might be able to use the Hold and Start together is the Hold is a latching type button and the Start is a momentary button. Also I'm running out of wires.

I have a simple UOP with a Start Button and a Hold Button. If I use the flag examples shown can I use both Start and Hold buttons simultaneously for a Fault reset?

Thank you Star 284. Is that table from the Handling pdf? My 16.5 is different.

I have a 200ic that I'm trying to set up an external start & hold button on. I have crma58 & 59 peripheral devices c1 & c2. Can this be done without using a plc? Sorry brand new to robotics.

Do you have to have a PLC to use this example?

Will this method work without a PLC?

I have a Fanuc LR Mate 200IC. I have di/do connections on crma58 & crma59. The I/O on 58 works but I cannot get any out put on 59.
Any suggestions?
