I would like a study conducted that involves several intoxicated weed smokers with no goggles and several sober subjects with goggles performing reasonable tasks where motor function, reflex and reaction time can be studied. I say reasonable because the tests the video display look idiotic at best, minus the ball catching. It seems possible that the goggles could cause worse impairment than very recent usage of marijuana.

In larger industrial robots, just enough current is run through the servo to keep it in position. If you fight it, it will increase amperage to hold position. When power is cut from these robots, brakes engage to hold position. On these machines, you can generally power just the brakes with some custom cabling, but when you power them back up, they are going to be upset as the encoder positions don't match with what it expected. Just a word of advice -- you owe it to yourself to actually use this camera -- and then draw your conclusions. This camera is phenomenal. Even as a stills only camera, this is one of the best handling and performing cameras I've experienced. Excellent controls and a well thought out touchscreen that adapt to you, not the other way around. The one thing that amazed me most it that there was almost no 'breaking in' period -- the G7 is almost immediately intuitive. An extension of not only the hand, but of the eye and mind. Does the controller have a teach pendant and/or expansion option box with any of these cards installed: Ethernet interface; Extended serial interface; CC-Link interface; Additional axis interface; PROFIBUS interface. These would be very useful in hooking up any PLC. If you don't have either it's OK. You could try COSIROP or COSIMIR Educational 4.1 to connect via serial.
