It appears the Date Last Modified updates only after system date updates. Does this sound correct?

I have r30iB controllers with Fanuc M20iA robots and ShapeGen software for feature creation for waterjet cutting. If I adjust position and/ or cut parameters within a ShapeGen feature it does not update DATE LAST MODIFIED from the SELECT screen list using the F5 Softkey for ATTR (attributes?). Is there a system variable or procedure I can put in place so that this DATE LAST MODIFIED updates?

Thank you for your input. We will check on the oil settling and load data. We did in fact find that some oil had leaked .

S4CPLUS , irb 2400 M2000, Axis 5 Joint Load and Joint speed too high. No binding and no changes were made to velocities. This seems to pop up only after robots have run production for several hours and then sit idle during breaks or model change overs. Once re-set and walked through the program it will run OK until the next idle time. The cables seem intact. Should we check connections under the axis 2,3 cover plate?

Had a power outage while not in production . Upon starting cycle on the cell the first waterjet cut was 2.5 inches low in Z. This resulted in a collision. Batteries in robot base should be good. Could a bad brake cause drift down and loss of rev counters? It appears axis 3 had drifted down off of the witness marks but no calibration data had changed from current to a previous backup. To fix this we put axis 3 at level and updated rev counters. Has anyone ever seen a lost of position reference during a power outage with good batteries? These are irb 2400 M200 with S4CPLUS controllers.

I have a cell with 4 robots. 2 robots go home sooner than the other 2. If the cell faults out between these two events and the cycle is resumed the 2 that are at home come out and start the second cycle before the other 2 have completed the first cycle causing a crash. What are the I/O options or is there a command I can put at the end of the routines to tell the other robots not to start unless the others have been home?
Another manufacturer uses a PSUB WAIT command to prevent this, not sure if Fanuc has a similar command.

Have 4 irb2400 on S4CPLUS M2000 controllers. Is there a way to adjust the soft limits on axis 2 to gain a bit more -Z (world) on these inverted robots? We are not yet to the hard limit, but need a bit more height due to a rather tall waterjet fixture.

I have a lot of different backup directories in an S4C+ . I am thinking I need to delete some of the older backups to free up space to do a current backup. How do I delete obsolete backups? Cursor over and Delete key?

After getting a computer " end of battery life" alarm on S4C+ controllers and replacing the batteries is there an alarm reset we have to do ?

So when defining coordinates of a Wobj we can elect to set them as a robtarget as well ?

After the batteries are replaced it can still say end of life until it is reset ?

In an S4C+ controller is it possible to move the robot To a taught Wobj target? (e.g. move to ?)

Tried FileZilla. Still no luck. I don't think I have the FTP site address for the controller in the right spot. Not sure what screen to set this in...

I have read and followed the instructions for doing an FTP backup to a laptop. I am using FTP Surfer. I have set all IP laptop and FTP client screens to the settings indicated. Set Com port 1 to 21. From a previous backup I have an S4C+ folder ALREADY in place within FTP Surfer. when I click on it I see it working , but I keep getting a " connecting... waiting 5 seconds to connect " warning. Eventually it aborts because it will not connect.. Am I missing something?
