Hello everyone,
I have a M-10iA with a R-30iA controller and a LR Mate 200iC 5H with a R-30iA Mate controller that are sometimes colliding with each other. Looking at the pendants I can see the DO from one requesting to enter the space, and the corresponding DI saying that it is okay. This works most of the time. I also see a DO for both robots saying that it is clear of the area, but no corresponding DI. It looks like I have free inputs on both robots, but I don't know where they are wired. I work with these robots a lot, but I have never installed one and don't know the ends and outs of them like I should. I've looked in the controllers and in the R-30iA maintenance manual, but I can't seem to find how to connect inputs and outputs. I am very Green and I know that this is a silly question, but can anyone help me?

Hello,
Last night a shorted wire (I believe in EE cable) was found and SRVO-214 6ch amplifier fuse blown (R:1) was shown. To my knowledge, no blown fuse was found. We have a LR Mate 200iD with a R-30iB Mate controller. I have checked the 5 fuses that I could find and they are good. We also have a SRVO-005 Robot overtravel which will clear with a SHIFT + RESET, but the robot will not move. I connected the EE cable (which I assume to have been fixed) and got a SRVO-248 Deadman switch status abnormal, so I removed the EE cable again and reset_1CH fault. Now I am back to the SRVO-214 and SRVO-005. Is there a fuse somewhere that I am missing? Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for the Help,

Thanks Pep_TK421,
It turns out that there is a special key combination in order to transfer all of the settings from the MC. It took a few calls to Fanuc, but we got it.
Hello,
I have a R-J3iB that had the controller go out. I replaced it with another and loaded the programs back off of a PCMCIA, but now the device net card has a red light and the device net option is not available in the type of I/O. I took the card out and put into another system and it works fine. Is there a setting that I am missing somewhere or is it possible that the new controller is not capable of device net?
Thanks in advance,
EMSSTC
Thank you all. I,m not exactly sure what we did to fix the problem, but it has not returned.

We don't have anything that affects the trays. They are placed on hooks with no centering mechanism. The problem started on 2nd shift Tuesday and I fought it all day Wednesday, but I haven't had much trouble so far today. I wish I could find the cause because it will probably come back. I was wondering if it had something to do with the occasional chain/fence fault. Our best guess on that one is that the gate may have shaken and quickly unlatched and latched back. As of now everything is looking good, but if anyone could give some insight on what it might have been, I would be grateful. As I said, I'm afraid that it will come back.
Thank you,

I checked and everything is bolted to the floor. The operator states that it has been both trays and it is always the very next tray it uses after entry. As I said before it is only a mm or so, but it causes big problems for our process. I just don't understand how the fence could affect it or why it would only be the next tray and not both.
I'll double check on that, but something I failed to mention before is that there are two different trays (and position points) that the robot uses, but it only seems to effect one of them. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it has happened on both trays, just not at the same time. It is only a mm or so, so maybe I'm just not noticing it on the other.
Let me start off by saying that I received a new M-10iD with a R-30iB PLUS controller 5 months ago. Occasionally we have had a chain fault which required a reset of channel 1 from the pendant. The problem that I am having now is that every time the operator goes into the fence the robot needs to be touched up. even if nothing is moving when he opens the gate. It is usually the X that is a mm or so off, even though the position numbers have not changed. Can anyone explain why this may be happening or give me a clue on how I may be able to fix it? Everything runs fine unless the fence is opened.
Thanks in advance,

Sorry to all...I meant to post this on the Fanuc Board
Everything working great now. Thank you.
the problem was broken wires in the cable going from the robot to the circuit board. I think I have them hooked back up correctly (some were the same color, so I took my best guess) and now I have SRVO-073 CMAL alarm (Group:1 Axis:3), SRVO-037 IMSTP input (Group:1), and SRVO-065 BLAL alarm (Group:1 Axis:6). I know that I have seen these before, but I don't remember how to clear them. Can anyone help?
Update: It looks like the switch might be working, but the robot still won't move. The fault won't clear unless RESET is pushed, but when everything is done correctly a MCTL-003 system error occurs. There's a little more info, but I still need help if anyone has something to offer.

Hello all,
I have a Fanuc robot M-10iA with an I Pendant type AO5B-2518-C202 #EMH that doesn't want to move. I have changed both the pendant and the pendant cable with no effect. With the robot and pendant both in T1 the deadman switch alarm does not come on. If you hit RESET it will clear the faults and stay cleared. If I hit an AXIS it says you must press shift (expected) if I use SHIFT and AXIS I get you must press the deadman (expected) but when I do all three, nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance, EMSSTC
I changed the motor and brake and the problem went away. Thank you all for your help.
Hello all,
I have a LR Mate 200iB 5P that is occasionally getting the "SRVO-050 Collision Detect Alarm (G:!, A:5)" with nothing around it. Sometimes when this happens it will reset itself and keep on going, and sometimes it will not.
Can anyone help?
i got it from Fanuc tech support.
Hello everyone,
I had to replace the motor on axis 6 of a LR Mate 200 iB. The problem now is that I don't know how to remaster or calibrate that axis. I have very little in the way of documentation for these, so if anyone could give me the procedure to follow I would be very grateful.
Thanks,
EMSSTC
i got it going by re-configuring the IO
