Ok, when I'd find it, what it's supposed to do (I mean SPS routine)? The robot was making cars in it's previous life, now it is going to make films, can I write my own code, ignoring (deleting) it's current SPS?
There are any requirements for SPS without of some robot won't run?
Still I dont get it.
Please point me to a source manual I can find some knowledge, please

Do I have anything else running in SPS?
-
I want my robot to send position data via serial all the time, I mean during "teaching" session and while running a program (move).
Forgive me my ignorance, what is SPS? -
Hi,
Is it possible to send position (as well as axis angles, I guess) via serial like in CWRITE/CREAD manual example "in background"?
I mean, can I run concurrently more than one program in Kuka? (KSS 5.2) -
I don't want to emulate EMT as it is made, I need hardware and software protocol to emulate it's signal out. There are better ways to achive the same instead of measuring of the depth of the nail. Optical, magnetic for example...

Take4D is able to control Kuka too.
-
Yes, I know all these "issues" but I have learned to workaround them. Do you know Take4D?
-
You always had option to import 3d data to Flair.
-
I want to have mastering done as precise as possible, but this cannot be done with dial or pencil
and I won't buy stupid EMT thing, I just want to workaround it.
EMT is too expensive. -
What does your solver do better than Flair?
-
Does your Milo REALLY need COSTANT maintenance? That's strange....

Tnx Eusty.
So I can set software limits for A4 and A6 to, let's say +/-3600°? -
Hi,
Does A1 have hardware limits? Are the sliprings there or the cables are wind?
Do A4 and A6 have hardware limits? They are capable of moving infinitely I guess.

Hi, I'm going to make Mastering process easier and better. I want to install my own sensors on all of my Kuka Robot axes and emulate very precious Kuka EMT thing.
Does anyone know what the format of the signal of the EMT is? I guess this is Power In and digital out (from DAC installed in EMT). This should be 3 wires but could be more, never mind, I need the schematics and the protocol,
May I ask for your help, please?Cez

(...) getting used robot and asking Kuka for replacement discs with same software version should not be expensive (just guessing, you already have the license, you are only replacing media). (...)They told me it's impossible.
-
I've asked local and Augsburg Kuka for the same reason, my robot came without disks.
They answered no copies of the install disks I can buy, Kuka does not provide them (media worth few euros for legal software!!!), they said they can come to me and install new software or I can buy new KSS. I don't even ask but I'm sure this would be a fortune. This is Kuka politics: „If you're not a factory with hundreds of robots, don't bother us, get lost, we have no time for you.”
Kuka Augsburg did not reply at all. -
Yes, I've seen this before, they have much lighter robot..... My idea is somehow different.
Stiil looking for drawings of cyllindrical base.

Hi,
Does anybody have drawings (blueprint?) of Kuka KR210 (2000) base pedestal?
I am going to build portable (convertible somehow) flat spider-like construction to carry my robot, avoiding in this way need to mount it to the floor. I will have 80cm base pedestal but I'd like to make some drawings before it arrive. From photos I have I see it has bolt holes wider (in diameter) than the base itself.
Thanks in advance
