New Kawasaki pendant showing Software Version Mismatch on C controller

    I hope you're all having a pleasant day.

    Recently, I acquired a pre-owned teach pendant for a C series controller. However, upon connecting it, I encountered a "Software Version Mismatch" error. While browsing this forum, I came across a similar issue reported back in 2019, with a successful resolution.

    I would be extremely grateful if someone could assist me in obtaining the T04E0TCJ teach pendant software and guiding me through the installation process. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Don't reference a similar issue on some random post back in 2019 without providing any visual evidence.

    We are not privvy to this information unless you reference it directly for us.

    Please describe the error in full including exactly what you see on the screen and or a screenshot of it?.

    In some cases it may not be TP firmware related.

    Yes you are right, my explanation was too concise.

    One of our Kawasaki robot setups consist of an FC060L 6 axis robot controlled by a C series controller. The AS software version is 304E0TKJ and the TP software version is T04E0TCJ.

    The problem we face is that sometimes when we switch off the controller, the teach pendant would not light up immediately upon switching on controller. Often the TP turns on immediately, but sometimes it takes up to 12h to show the display.

    We have checked the communication with controller when the teach pendant did not turn on using KRterm 1.2.8 and the controller was active when given the "status" command. So I assumed that the controller was OK.

    The reseller for our country had no teach pendants available for sale, so I bought a used one with the same part number. But when the new tech pendant was connected, it showed TP_Version T0190Q8J and an error showing "Software Version Mismatch".

    Both teach pendants have the same part number - 50817-1260R00 and both have a pcmcia card slot.

    C Controller MFD Software Mismatch

    G’day, newbie from South Australia looking for same guidance.

    I work with a couple of FS030 / C Controller as well as a few JS010/ A Controller robots. No real background other than learning as I go. I have searched the site and found nothing reflective of my concern.

    One of the C Controller Multi-Function Displays has an intermittent issue and becomes completely non-reactive on occasion.

    I have found another MFD but when connected shows only a keyboard and ‘Software Version Mismatch’.

    Is there a way to get the new teach pendant running?

    I am new to this forum and somehow I did not manage to drag and drop images.

    The new pendant boots to a keyboard and initially shows the SW version on top. After a while it displays software version mismatch.

    The keys I tried to press were non responsive.

    I will retry to paste images next Monday.
