Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to communicate between a YRC1000 Yaskawa robot and a Beckhoff PLC/IPC.
What I want is to be able to start pre-programmed jobs from the PLC using a HMI that will run on the Beckhoff PLC.
So, the jobs the robot needs to perform will be programmed on the robot using the teaching pendant. I only need communication between these 2 to be able to do this.
I did some research but didn't come to a definitive conclusion, I found MotoModbus which might be something useful. I also saw the same kind of setup but with a different brand PLC which communicated through Ethernet/IP.
Can someone help me in the right direction?
