Hello alls,
We are working in multiple applications with kawasaki robot with KIDE.
It's great for programming and to build interface panel.
However we have some little issue with interface panel buttons.
In many case we want to enable a specific button only when teach_lock switch is OFF.
Let say i want to turn on signal 1 when a button is pressed only if the teach_lock is set to on, right now we:
- Declare an internal signal (for example 2001)
- Assign the new internal signal to the button
- Create a parallel task, that check if the 2001 signal is on AND if the teach lock is set to on THEN it turn on the signal 1.
It work and it's not a big problem, but it's a little annoying create a duplicated internal signal for this simple operation.
Is there a better way? For example disable the button with another signal and leave it only for visualization purpose.
Is there any solution also for variable data display?
Thank you!
