I am setting up a M-710iC robot with the controller R-30iB Plus. I have an incremental encoder (A860-030I-T00I 2000P) and is setup through the encoder settings which is currently working. I am using a Basler acA1300-75gm camera. This Robot will be unloading a furnace row of parts. I will be unloading from left to right.
My issue is that I have never setup Visual Line Tracking. I have worked on irvision and line tracking separately but never implemented them together. I am trying to use the iRPickTool. I have my gripper, robot, conveyor setup so far. I have the conveyor tracking frame and scaling setup. But when i try to add the vision in, I cannot figure out what method to use. I have looked through many manuals and tried a few different methods but cannot get anything to work properly.
I am trying to add my vision into the iRPickTool setup Under the conveyor sensor option. I chose Find Part by Vision and it wants me to select a vision process. I cannot seem to find the location to create this vision process. Everywhere online tells me to go to the iRvision setup screen and create a "2d single view visual tracking process" but i do not have that option anywhere. Another source led me to camera calibration tools but no luck there. And the last spot I tried was under the iRpicktool utilities, and got the schedule trained. But when i try to execute it says 5 or more axis robots are not supported. So no luck with that method either.
Basically I am looking for someone to lead me in the right direction. How should I be implementing the line tracking and vision together. iRPickTool? Or some other method?
