I posted this on a different thread but I think I should of done it here. Sorry if I'm doing this wrong.
Not sure if this is the place to ask but I've been trying to read as much as I can, to see if anything matched my issue. I have a M710iC 50 that is pausing in the middle of its normal operation. On the pendent it reads "FANUC Syst-32 Enable signal from UOP is lost" and on the HMI it just says robot alarm check pendent. This seems to only happen in a specific location when the EOAT is changing tools and normally right after it connects to the new tool. The robot seems to only do this in that location but when it returns the tool to the stand it keeps running just fine. It just randomly would do this but now its become every cycle. we can hit rest on the HMI and it will take off and keep running until it gets to that specific spot in the program and physical spot.
Things that we have done:
1. Retouched up the position in the robot.
2. Connected to the PLC and found the output for command enable (watched for it to drop out) with no change.
3. Could not see it drop out, so we made a trend to watch the three inputs on the rung and the output. we eventually seen a small dip on the output. Never seen anything on the inputs of the rung while trend was running.
We are unclear of the physical location of the output though. The tag in the PLC is Fanuc_Robot:O.Data[0].0 at first I thought it was internal bit or tag but it has a Fanuc_Robot:C, Fanuc_Robot:I,Fanuc_Robot:Owhitch makes me to believe it a physical or local location. Fanuc_Robot:C the data type is AB:Ethernet_Module:C:0 (unclear if this is a physical peice of equipment) if so Mabe I can replace this.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
