Hi All - great info here, much of it over my head at the moment. Especially PCL / Karel stuff. I was kind of hoping I could find a place with a lot of answers for beginner/intermediate level questions without watching youtube videos...I have a fairly simple question - the kind it seems nobody asks around here.
What are the benefits / limitations of using Circle (C) vs Circle Arc (A)?
My questions is specific to robotic welding but I'm sure those points are used for handling and other robotic functions as well.
Does one allow functions the other doesn't? Or is it just personal preference? I'm guessing there are different algorithms behind each one but I've tried programming the same weld using each and don't notice any difference in terms of travel. Without actually knowing anything behind the scenes I suspect Circle (C) might work better for outside diameter welds and Circle Arc (A) better for inside diameter welds? Or say I'm just welding around a 90° inside radius would it be more ideal to use Circle Arc (A)? And use Circle (C) if there is 180° or greater travel?
