Hi All,
After much messing aorund with other non-robot automation stuff I return to the robot, switch it on only to discover that moving it in Linear make very trippy movements.
On futher investigation the resolvers are out on axis 2 and 3 and seeem to be at zero when the robot is in shipping position.
I was expecting an easy fix to this, last robot I used in anger (KukaLBR) the robot sorted this out itself..
I am hoping that I just move the robot to zero (using mechanical origin points) update the resolvers and the reference calibration sorts this.. or am I being to optimistic?
Read the product manual and its not entirely clear what I should do.. or whether I escalate with ABB. I fear the robot has had too long in storage and forgotton where it is - and I'm not sure if the recovery is an easy one.
