Don't understand what you mean. Describe your problem a bit more precise.
How did you add which option?
Which backups do you create where exactly, and which one doesn't meet your expections? Backup on controller, backup of real controller with Robotstudio, backup of virtual controller in Robotstudio?
Versions of controller software and Robotstudio?
we have a robot IRB6700. This came with a basic software. Later on we received a module from the supplier; which had multitasking, collision avoidance & world zones. we installed it with the given procedure. Now we could see all the options in real controller & those functions work also.
Now when we take backup of the same & create a system in robot studio.. we don't find those options in the created system.
I also receive the following errors when we create a system from the backup.
"

That one could be special-characters i the directory. (Windows username)
You get error messages when creating the system?! For me this is a clear sign, that robotstudio didn't create a complete and working system.
You must be able to create a system without error messages.
1. Use short patnames without special characters.
If that doesn't work, install roboguide again.

I don’t think installing roboguide would solve the Robotstudio problem… 😉
If you try to read, understand and follow posts, you should understand that installing robotstudio is not the first option for solving your problem. But if that doesn't work you should give it a try instead of thinking about whether it will solve the problem or not .
By the way, you didn't answer all of the above questions.
Versions of software (robotstudio, robotware).
One more question:
What was the 'given procedure' to install the option? (normally you get a key to create a system with robotstudio).
