Staubli RX60bl CS8, Arm power shutdown

Hello to all,

Hope someone will answer.

We bought a Staubli robot RX60 with CS8 controller 1 year ago, about 10 days ago we started getting message on Pendant: "Arm power shutdown: internal power error (CS8: 24V2, CS8C: ALIM_OK in ARPS module). Reboot is needed to recover".

I don't know how I should do a reboot in this case, also I opened central panel measured power on 24_V2 and is 25,2 volts.

Did someone get some idea what can be an issue?

Hi,

24V2 is related to the arm power ON/OFF,

Are the LED on the ARPS ok?

If the light is not coming ON on arm power this could mean you have a problem with the brake release signal.

When did this start to happen? When this happens is the robot moving? Any specific position of the robot?

Hello. Did you ever resolve this issue? Arm power shutdown: internal power error (CS8: 24V2, CS8C: ALIM_OK in ARPS module). Reboot is needed to recover. We started getting this issue and are looking for the solution.
