Hi, I am working on developing a user interface screen using screen maker.
Is there a way to restrict access to ScreenMaker screens or buttons depending on what user is logged in via the UAS?

Hi,
I have the same challenge for one of my projects.
Did you find a way to solve this issue by any chance?
thanks you,
I created separate login and password screens with conditional triggers for different users in Screen Maker. While it was a bit time-consuming to create identical screens for each user, it ultimately fulfilled my requirements. However, I am curious if there are alternative methods available that I am not aware of.
Hi, thank for the answer. That give me an idea for getting similare result.
The step i use:
In rapid module with NoView.
I use trap and IPers for confirming and managing the acces of many user.
I have created a record for holding each user / password and a function for comparing it in an array.
When a password is enter, this trigger the iPers and the trap compare each user then set an io for the HMI to use if a match is fund.
Finally, i use a conditional trigger to root me in my page in the screen manager.
The main drawback is the user and password is hard code in a .mod file.
Look at the "application rights" in the UAS. I think that access to applications made on the FlexPendant can be blocked. I'm not sure. Look at the manual.
