Which version of RobotWare is it? Do you have the Profinet Internal option or the Profinet Anybus option?
The hardware and software configurations differ for each setup. Based on the image you shared, it appears that both options are shown. Keep in mind that two different GSD files are available for these options, and you need to load the correct one.
Which version of RobotWare (RW) are you using? Are you working with SafeMove Basic or SafeMove Pro? Make sure you have configured the software synchronization, without it, supervision will not work.
Keep in mind that SafeMove only provides a warning in manual mode. If the robot moves outside the safe zone, it will notify you once. To trigger the warning again, you’ll need to bring the robot back inside the zone.
I’ve noticed a potential bug during the "Write to Controller" process. Although it indicates the configuration is "loaded," the SafeMove settings might not actually update. It sometimes takes multiple attempts to successfully write the configuration to the controller.

Sorry, that was quite basic—thank you! I was able to modify the positions in Manual mode.
I realized that in the Virtual FlexPendant, when switching to Manual Mode and making changes in RAPID, it automatically reverts to Auto Mode. I hadn’t noticed this until now.
However, it’s still not working on the real controller, and I haven’t been able to figure out why yet
Dynamically loaded programs? Load/open the program module (and set PP to it) before trying to do the modifications? As done in painting applications.
There is no Open or Load instruction in any of the programs, and there are no modules in the Home folder.
Usually, we keep the modules in a separate folder to be loaded dynamically. Even in such cases, those modules can be modified and saved back into the same folder without issues.
It could have the VIEWONLY attribute set. In a text editor you could remove that attribute in the module declaration.
It is just the sys module with no additional attributes.

I encountered an issue while working with a backup from an ABB IRB 1200 robot using the IRC5 controller and RobotWare 6.15.
Here’s the problem:
Initially, I suspected it might be related to write access permissions. However, even when using the Virtual Controller, the same issue persists.
Does anyone have insights into what might be causing this or suggestions on how to resolve it?
1. Why does ABB use this, what is the benefit of using this Quaternion system vs simple pitch, roll, yaw coordinates? I understand how to calculate it, it just seems like an unnecessary extra step and very difficult if not impossible to go the other way.
Euler angles make you do three separate turns (one for each axis). Quaternions combine it into a single, smooth turn around a specific direction, which keeps things simple and fast, especially for computers.

I recently came across an interesting RAPID program where MAIN is called from a subroutine, which made me curious about how long this approach can run. In the usual structure, a robot completes a subroutine and returns to the routine that originally called it. But in this example, it seems like the subroutine rountine1 calls MAIN again, creating a sort of loop between the two routines. Here’s a simplified version of the code I saw:

If you only need to view the graph/log in text file, you can use Tune Master, which displays both raw and processed force data.

You can use the system input "Limit Speed"
When the System Input Limit Speed signal is set to 1, the speed changes to a configured value. Once reset, it returns to the programmed speed.
Check the bug fixes, know issues and limitations chapters in the release notes of your RobotStudio version. If I remember correctly, there is an entry about the WZ behavior in RobotStudio.
I tried it with RW 6.15.4023, RobotOS_10.0.1, and RobotOS_12.0.2, but it's still not working. Any suggestions?
Yes, the WorldZones viewer is a new feature, but If I recall correctly, it will work only for robots with RW 6.x or above.
I checked the release notes, but there wasn't much information about this topic.

I recently updated to RobotStudio_2024.2.1 and noticed that the new update includes a feature to visualize "WorldZones." I'm not sure if this was available in previous versions, but I saw a tutorial video on the ABB YouTube channel that demonstrates this feature. Unfortunately, I'm unable to see or access the "WorldZones" visualization in my current setup.
Am I missing something, or is there a specific step I need to follow to enable this feature?

I'm working on an R&D project involving an ABB YuMi robot. My client wants to monitor the robot's coordinates (XYZ) in real-time on a PC screen throughout its operation. The data should be plotted on a graph, which will serve as a reference. Additionally, if the robot deviates from its path, this deviation should be shown on the graph.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to achieve this? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I created separate login and password screens with conditional triggers for different users in Screen Maker. While it was a bit time-consuming to create identical screens for each user, it ultimately fulfilled my requirements. However, I am curious if there are alternative methods available that I am not aware of.

Are you referring to IO Engineering? Sometimes, when writing to the controller after making changes, it can become buggy. You may need to rewrite it a few times. I've noticed that it seems to work when it takes some time to apply. If it applies very quickly, it usually means that it didn't apply correctly
These are just three empty modules
1. I am experiencing an issue with the real-time updating of the PP in Rw6.14. Specifically, the PP gets stuck on a line and does not update until I close and reopen the program editor.
2. I cannot keep two program editor windows of different modules open simultaneously. For example, if I have the PP in routine 1 and I want to check routine 2, when I step in 1 line in routine 1, both program editor windows switch to routine 1
Whenever the robot is restarted, it displays a "no communication with IO device" alarm, even though communication is established within a second. This constant alarm is causing frustration for the customer. Is it possible to extend the timeout or suppress the alarm from appearing in the event log?

My buttons for Request Write Access and Release Write Access go grey. And I'm unable to get the "Write To Controller" option in the SafeMove window.
If you keep the mouse pointer there it will tell you what you are missing to enable it.
If you want to remove the UAS you can directly connect to ROBOT teach Pendent port inside the controller ,I don't recall the port name.
after connecting it will provide you with the option reset UAS.
