I am working on repairing a FS100 controller. I have diagnose that the servo amplifier controller thingy is the bad part. I have swapped in a known good and its working with that one.
The model number for the old defective part is CSTR-IFBM3LB. I bought a used one off eBay and it's not working. When it boots up, i get 2 errors:
1.Alarm 0030 ROM error
2.Alarm 4840 Interlock connector is used ( this is not the case!)
And on the servo amplifier controller, the LNK1 or LNK2 light isn't blinking like it should.
I thought either i got a defective part from eBay but then i notice on the label , the new one has a model number CSTR-IFBM3LBY400
I don't know if its a compatibility issue or a bad part. I called motoman support and gave them the model number ending in 400 and they claim to never hear from this part and nothing is in the system. But if i search the web, the only used ones i can find end in 400.
Could anyone shed light on this?
Thanks!
