I have a used Fanuc robot, refurbished and delivered by them.
It includes DCS but no auxiliary power circuit.
They have, as yet, been elusive in responding to my repeated technical questions.
R30iA Controller
A20B-2101-037 safety board
Previously, on jobs for larger customers with new robots they had an option with a power supply, safety relay and some wiring for DCS signals and 220 VAC.
This would supply the Aux power from within the robot controller when the robot servo power is on only.
I have the wiring diagrams for one of these options, but it calls for a different connection.
From what I understand it is a different board used in those instances.
These would have the SFDI and SFDO 11, 12, 21 and 22 and the connector looks like a CRMB2 with 12 pins.
I have a CRMA8 connector which is 16 pins and calls out ESPDO 11, 12, 21 and 22 but no safe DI, only OPSFTY.
My question is...
Is it possible to implement this function with this board/connection/controller?
I am hoping the OPSFTY connections can work the same as the SFDIs and the setup can be configured in DCS.
If you got this far, thanks for reading.
