We have a Fanuc CR-35iA with R-30iB Plus controller set up. For demonstrational purposes, we would like to create a simple program that loops, interrupt the program, perform workpiece inspection with hand guidance and then resume program execution with the operator button on the J1 joint on the robot arm. This button is wired to RI[1] by default, and program resuming is by default performed by 'cycle start' button on the controller.
I'm running into some issues in trying to pair RI with UI signals, specifically UI[6] which controls the start command. So far I have tried interconnecting the RI with DO and then configuring UI[6] with the associated rack and slot, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas on how to tackle this?
