And is it possible to get a readout of time between specific points?

Do you have Roboguide or are you testing with a real robot?
You could use a simple timer in your program or If you have MotionPro you can plot out a graph.
When using program timers you must understand the difference between CNT and Fine moves. Logic after a CNT move executes part way through the move. But with fine it executes when the move is complete.
I am using with a real robot.
Only just got it so I am a bit of a battler with it.
Can you explain how to add a simple timer to Program? that is what I am looking for I think

You can add a timer instruction into the program.
TIMER[1]=stop
TIMER[1]=reset
TIMER[1]=start
.......
Do some moves
.......
TIMER[1]=stop
R[1]=TIMER[1]
Then you just look at the value in R[1] to see the elapsed time in seconds. Always make sure to stop and reset before you start.
You just saved me a lot of time!
