I have, in pretty logical order, replaced the 14m RM1 cable, ax2 motor, have a new J1-J6 harness strung along the outside and plugged into the NEW RM1 cable and the new (refurb) 6ax servo amp and each motor / brake connection. I can read from CR88 @ servo board the ax1 & ax2 brake coils which are in parallel, ax3 by itself and ax4/5/6 parallel coil values which agree with the independent values I read at the base connector pins originally. The only thing I haven't replaced in that power flow scheme is the original 7m RM1 cable which has been coiled inside an enclosure, dry and never moved. It plugs into a 14m extension which is new. Still, today I opened up the Harting connector to inspect for schmutz, signs of arcing, loose connection - anything. It was pristine.
Still, I get the same brake abnormal faults. Sometimes it takes a minute to come in (after I pull-in deadman) but I don't even need to attempt to move. I have several spare parts now that I've been meaning to order...
Any ideas?
