Hi,
I am trying to communicate via ethernet / ip with mitsubishi plc (model: fx5u), I have an ethernet-ip module.
Right now I can ping the plc from fanuc, but there is no way to see i / o on the plc.
Has anyone done similar work?
thanks

The Question is "do you have R538 Ethernet/IP I/O Adp. option installed ?". I believe it is needed to use that kind of communication.
If I were you i would use native mitsubishi CC-Link/CC-Link IE to create communication (still you need cc-link option installed on fanuc).

I guess so, I have contacted fanuc and they are answering my query, but this option is the one that appears in the i/o menu - ethernet / ip?
Or has nothing to do witth it.
You must create the input/output tags in the PLC. Find an ethernet/ip configuration option in your PLC developing platform. You must ask fanuc for the Ethernet IP Operator manual.
solved, needed the eds file updated to my version.
if someone needs for R30iA version v770/37, write me
