Unfortunately, it's not simple. The primary directories visible in the KUKA HMI's Navigator, where your KRL program modules are located, are not locations on the robot hard drive. Instead, they are located on a RAM drive that is mirrored from the /KRC/R1 directory of the hard drive during boot (which is one reason the boot takes so long).
While it is possible to share directories on the hard drive across the network (using the standard WIndows 95 methods), it is not possible to share the RAM drive. Also, sharing the C drive to the network with write permissions is... somewhat dangerous.
My usual practice was to create a directory on the robot's D drive, and share it to the network with full Read/Write permissions. To perform offline editing, I would use the pendant Navigator to copy&paste files to that D drive directory, then edit them over the network. Then, on the pendant, I would copy&paste the updated files from the D drive into the Navigator's /R1 tree. This would place the edited files into the RAM drive where they could be used.
Back in the day, there was a trick I used on KRC1s that involved editing the /R1 directory on the hard drive directly, then rebooting the robot in such a way as to prevent the RAM drive from being saved to the hard drive (thus causing the new files to be loaded on boot), but I don't remember all the details well enough to suggest trying it.
