The robot in question is a Kuka type KR60L30JT with a KRC2 control Version 5.6.8 and a KCP2 teach pendant.
Our shop received a GTV thermal spray booth from a facility in our group that shut down in China. After installing and wiring this booth, I was able to power everything up yesterday for the first time. Everything functioned as it should.
The axes on the KUKA robot needed mastering, as expected since this booth has not been powered up for nearly a year. I am not familiar with KUKA, so I read the manuals and discovered how to master the axes. Axis A1 was no problem, but after I did A2, I received a "Axis specific work envelope no.1 violated fault". So, they had a work envelope set at our China facility. No, problem, I'll just find how to override the envelope.
The manual says you must have the mode key set to T1, which I did. Then you go to Configure>Miscellaneous>Monitoring Work Envelope>Override. The problem I have is that in the dropdown menu, "Monitoring Work Envelope" is not available. It is there, but in the light gray text that means that you cannot access it. I would assume that this function is password protected??
We received zero documentation on this booth when it came from China, so I will not be able to get a password from anyone there. Is there some sort of a workaround for this, or am I wrong about needing a password??
Thank you for any and all information.
