External hold has two circuits. One is normally closed and wired into the safety circuit of the controller. Without knowing what controller you have I can not say where to look. The second is in I/O. If your robot is set up for handling you could have a normally closed input for the shock sensor and there is a normally open input that can come from a PLC if you are using one. Once again we need information on you controller type, application and if you have serial communications (to a PLC) or just discrete wiring.
