concrete head dispenser fanuc head !?

    Hey guys,

    so i need another time your help to translate into word what i want. :smiling_face:

    i want my robot to have a concrete head dispenser so i can print let say a tiny house for the dog or a wall.

    i would need a pump i guess - a tank for the concrete - a thermal something and mixer to keep it liquid - and then a concrete head dispenser to dispense my concrete and 3d print the dog house !? does that make sense ?

    I've look all over the grabcad (dot) com to something like that but didn't find any STL.

    robot had a payload of about 10 kg lets say the dispenser should have and output diameter of about 1 inch shouldn't be to heavy on robot payload the pump and all that should be outside of the robot cell.

    also if one puts the bot on a rails maybe you can have even more working place

    what do you guys think stupid idea !?

    In my opinion a really cool idea, but pretty expensive and time consuming for just a dog house :winking_face:

    As the first answer to the linked topic says it could be a really wide and complicated project where you need a lot of new programming and hacking of different parts, I would suggest you checking out ROS (http://www.ros.org/). As its all open source and running different languages it could maybe simplify your software package. There is a Fanuc driver for ROS (http://wiki.ros.org/fanuc_driver) and I also found this tool for generating the paths:
