We have R-J3iB robot controllers that are freezing up and the eventual fix is to reload the image for the robot. When the TP locks up there is always an error SYST-034 Hold signal from SOP/UOP is lost. I am not sure whether the image is being lost or if there might be another way to recover but if we cycle power to the controller via the On/Off switch to regain response on the TP we end up with two errors PRIO-128 T,C,K and D data maybe lost and PRIO-144 Failer to run PMC program. We then reload the image and regain response from the TP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the roboto forum
you said "We have R-J3iB robot controllers that are freezing up" Is that plural ?
Is this problem just suddenly showing in all of them of kind of one at the time ?
I'm just wondering if you have any power issues ? Like new machinery beside the robot or similar. Check the phases, see if they are balanced ?My answer sounds crazy or unrelated to your problem, but when many robots are failing at the same time, mmmh, I don't think all the mother boards arre dying at the same time. I'm looking for a common item on all the robots
