The Yaskawa turn table that I have in my facility keeps loosing zero. After the light curtain is broken 11 times, we have to manually move the table back to zero and then reset the encoders back to zero. When looking through the SigmaWin+ software, I could not find anything of value that would cause this. any help is appreciated.

Is this connected to a Yaskawa robot controller?
Do you have any messages at the bottom of the programming pendant? Encoder Battery Weak [S and a number].

It is connected to a Yaskawa servopack which we interface with via computer with SigmaWin+ software. No error messages when it happens. And we don't have an AB1 alarm or any alarm related to the battery.

Since you are saying you are connecting with SigmaWin+ and no A81 alarms, this questions sounds better off at a Yaskawa Drive and Motion forum. Information is stored differently and where to do procedures are different between a robot controller with a teach pendant and a stand-alone servo pack. On the robot side hooking SigmaWin+ to an amp gets you nowhere unless the controller is a MLX. All the parameters and abso data are stored in the robot controller.
Stand-alone amp and MLX the amps need to be tuned and parameters set through SigmaWin.
