Hi, all!
I was trying to remotely help a colleague, that is a seasoned robot programmer, but never touched an KRC4 before.
His KSS is 8.3.32, and the robot has the standard software, with few options (GripperSpotTech, ProfiNet, UserTech and Multisubmit Interpreter).
He configured the ProfiNet network wrongly, and I said to him to basically activate ProfiNet Stack, make the IO linking, compile and deploy the project on the robot again.
After this, robot refused to boot.
At first, I was thinking in a messed SmartPad config, but I instructed him to plug an external monitor there and we saw the message in the attached picture. I also checked the WoV project that he deployed in the robot and didn't saw anything strange.
In my understanding, even with a damaged WorkVisual project loaded, Windows should boot, at least.
So, my question is: can a wrongly configured WorkVisual project ravage a KRC4 this way?
P.S.: Now he already recovered the robot.
