I know in "Teach Mode" there is a Fanuc system variable ($DMAURST) which can be set so that one does not have to press the "Reset" button to clear faults as long as the cause of the fault no longer exists and the dead-man switch is activated. Is there a similar system variable for "Auto Mode"?
I am currently setting up a system which is connected to a light curtain. The robot stops (as it should) when the light curtain is broken (fence open fault), but in order to restart it, the light curtain must no longer be broken, the operator must press the "Reset" button and then the green "Start" button. Is it possible to set some system variable to skip the pressing of the "Reset" button step? I.e. as soon as the light curtain is no longer broken, the operator can press just the green "Start" button to continue the robot's operation.
For reference, the robot I am using is an "LR Mate 200iD 7L", with a "System R-30iB Mate" controller.
