(Very experienced programmer but newbie on the robots ..)
We just updated a Rj3ib to the latest greatest and are encountering s few problems. Fanuc sent us a complete new software set (per a re-license) of all of the software that we had with a few additions of Socket Messaging and Paint & Palletizing. Reload went ok and after setting a few of the old sys params, everything came up ok.
a. We attempted to load a setup software set for a Keyence camera and received the "Program version is too new" error which will not let us load or execute the .pc files for the camera socketing config..
b. I'm sure there's some logic to this one: As we restored saved .TP files, all moved to the new install but several of them will not load. The trend seems to be that many of the .tp call routines load fine but the calling .TP program will not load. My question is "Does the .tp loading depend on the existence of user frame definitions (references in the .TP program) or other intrinsics or functions that it used on the prior software config. If these are restored, will it then load? I'm lost on this one.
Thanks for your fantastic inputs!
