Does anyone have any information regarding the commissioning of a DSQC 512 pci card(Phoenix Contact part #IBS PCI SC/RI-LK) with an ABB S4C? Currently Trying to configure this card as the master for a weld control, and weld gun. Interbus option is installed in the S4C system, yet when setting card to operation mode (using IBM CMD G4) with "Asynchronous with synchronization impulse" I have no contact with any i/o units, and receive bus errors on S4C and IBM CMD G4 (error in IBM CMD G4 is "bus synchronization error"). Pretty sure EIO.CFG is configured correctly, and bus config file and path is correct, but if anyone has one of these running in the field, or experience with commissioning Interbus, I would really appreciate any insight.

Finally found some info on these cards, dip switch settings on master card were not correct, corrected, formated and reset parametrization memory on dsqc 512 card, added units manually via IBS CMD G4, and all good Also have to make sure Slave board on this unit IS configured (through both IBS CMD G4 and EIO.CFG on controller) even if not in use. Will post dip settings, user manual links for card, sample IBS CMD G4 file, and EIO.CFG sample in follow up once we tear down.
*note, also removed bus config file path from s4c controller as controller can read bus config directly from card if project is saved to card via IBS CMD G4. Project involved only two nodes, a Festo servo-pneumatic resistance weld unit, and a Bosch Rexroth PSx 6xxx.624 weld control via fiber optic Interbus.

Hello Ulkers,
I believe if the Interbus option is not included on the controller key disk then you need to buy it for your system via ABB.
I think is Option 247 on the option boot disk in the baseware.
