Has anyone came up with any "creative" ways to back their R-J2 controllers up? SRAM cards are getting more expensive by the day, and the 232 port takes days. Just wondering if there is another option

I use a dedicated laptop with an 232 port and a homemade cable. I hook to the 25 pin out of the robot and the 9 pin D on the laptop.
Using Kfloppy it takes about an hour or less to create a backup. -
We use A compact flash PC card adapter with A 2GB compact flash card. plugs into the controller. Don't know what your robot does, ours is A MiG welder.
Only takes minutes to make A complete back up.
