I have a ARC Mate 100ic with a R30iB Controller doing a few mig welds. Every once and a while we get a ARC -021 fault and the program aborts. We have to switch the robot from remote start to local start to get to run again. When we do switch to local it starts no problem. Is their a background fault causing the robot to abort its current program?

MIGE?
I have not found useful information abou the prefix "MIGE". But it looks like some sort of comunication problem in the sensing.
Does it have Visual or Laser tracking? But I fear I am unable to help you with this kind of problem, I hope somebody can.

Yes it has Lazer tracking

R30IB:MIGE-033 Invalid calculation
It should give you a line number also. Which would help figure out where it was in the code.
