1. Define "factory parameters"
2. Is this a "stock" KUKA robot, or a special version for BMW/GM/Volvo/etc?
3. Do you have the installation CDs?
The surefire method would be to wipe the hard drive and re-install Windows, followed by KSS, from scratch. However, on some special-version robots, this can be difficult (for example, a certain Ford-specific model of KRC1 once required 3-4 different CDs, and a special boot floppy disk, and advanced knowledge of the system).
Before attempting any such change, always make a complete backup of the robot hard drive first.
1. The robot comes from another company I would like to eliminate all the settings that were made in that company.
2. Yes, is a "stock" KUKA
3. No, I don't have.
I have another robot, which has occurred to me to copy its operative system and put it in the one I want.
Is that possible?
If this is a "stock" KUKA KRC, then the install program for KSS should be on the D drive of the robot. This does not include the Windows installation, but you could re-install the KSS from scratch that way.
Copying the OS from another robot might work. It depends heavily on version, age, compatibility, etc.
I'll repeat: make a hard drive backup first. With a KRC this old, it's much harder to get tech support to fix anything if you accidentally damage something while doing this.

Hi Alberto! I have the same problem . I don't have the installation CDs for kuka KR200 robot and KRC1 controller. Did you fixed?
Same questions: "stock", or "special" (aka VW, GM, etc)?
Again, the installer for KSS should be located on the robot's D drive. That should leave you only needing the Windows 95 installer, which would have to be obtained from KUKA. Of course, before anything else, you should make a complete backup of the robot's entire hard drive (CloneZilla, Acronis, Norton Ghost, etc) as a disaster-recovery safety net.
Hi!
It's a VW-REAULT version,I´ve already made backup of hard disk. Today I've been searching in D:\ files, inside I found some folders with several $machine.dat, $custome.dat, etc, but I don't know what are the correct files from my robot. Also I found some installation files, Can I use it for reset settings?
Thanks for your help.
