if I would be you I would remove the harddrive from the robot and connect it to a computer / laptop and try to repair that way. Also if you do succeed use ghost software to take an image of your hardrive, just in case it fails you can replace it and put the image back on and you would be back in business.

Details? Define "software won't start" -- Windows won't start, or KSS won't start? Does KSS start and then 'hang' during the splash screen? Does the BIOS display on boot?
Before making ANY modifications to the hard drive, make very certain to clone it first, using CloneZilla or some equivalent tool. Re-installing KSS should be possible from the master copy on the D partition, but re-installing Windows would require getting a new install CD from KUKA, unless your robot somehow still has the original CD that came with it.

Hi,SkyeFire
The Windows won't start.
Yes,the BIOS display if I push "DELETE" key during the initial booting.
I am trying to start Windows somehow ,using the safety mode or last good running configuration.
Best regards! -
Hi,bmike
I will go that way in order to repair it.The problem is that I do not have CD's with WINDOWS 95 .
Thank you,best regards! -
you don't need win 95 to repair the harddrive, hook up your hardrive to a working computer and use the tools of that computer to repair the corrupt or missing sectors. But like I said, if it does take the image of the drive right away, in fact don't even star the repair unless you have the image tool ready to go.
Hope it works. -
