Have a question about wprkspaces. I would like to monitor workspace to some boolean variable. Is it possible to assign workspace signal to variable?
I'm not sure that I can assign it to unassigned output....
Thanks in advance!

You can assign it to an output.
btw variables (signals) of interest are
$AXWORKSTATE[1..8] for axis specific spaces
$WORKSTATE[1..8] for Cartesian spaces

btw.. I just don't want to assign workstate to some physical output. Or can I assign it to some virtual output?
try it....
btw. your robot has address space covering up to 4096 or up to 8192 outputs. are you really sure each and every one of them is mapped to a physical output?

ofc no. So I can pick any one free and use it, right?
right...
