Hey guys, thanks for your help almost done with the project.
Ok quick problem:
I have an android app that has a progressbar shown.
Is there a way for the robot to know how far it has come in the presses?
Say for example I have 20 sub programs and in the main program it runs through them in all kinds of order until its done. I need the robot to send a number from 1-100% to the phone. Whats the best way to do this?
Progress status?

You can create a count variable then have it send outputs when the counthits a certain point. Say Count = 5 which could mean 50%

Or a system like Airgate can send you text messages to alert you what step

So theres not an inbuild system that tracks the status?

There's not a built-in system due to all the different ways that the program could be written, for example most of our programs are looping constantly and only executing one small bit on each loop or if it's waiting for more material or a piece of equipment to finish running it might not execute anything on that loop.
Keeping a counter and incrementing it during each step is the easiest way. If you make it an installation variable then you can use the set command to increment it automatically and then just reset to 0 at the start of the program.
