Hi
I’m working wih the iiwa R800. Currently, I want to establish a Cartesian workspace (a cuboid whose position and orientation in space are defined relative to the world coordinate system). Establishing this, will enable the iiwa to recognize where the workspace is and not cause damage to surrounding obstacles.
My question is, if I move the iiwa just a little bit, how can the iiwa recognize that its position has changed and automatically calculates the Cartesian workspace.
Theoretically, I can hand guide the iiwa to a reference point and the iiwa can then “understand” that its position has changed in XYZ. But how does that work in practically?
Thank you,
Kind Regards.
