    I see what you mean.......
    - There is only 1 occurrence of the 'GROUP' command in your filesave......
    - I see its an ARC Weld 8 axis system too......So I assume there are 2 external axes connected - maybe positioners/rotary table.
    - I have located some reference to this called Separate Control Setting Functions.....but cannot get any manual...but the manual no. is 90210-1229DEC, if you contact KHI, or your local distributor, I'm sure they could provide this for you.

If you look at the Dedicated Input/Output Signal sections of the backup, you can see references to GROUPS there, so as a complete guess I would say it may just be turning on a dedicated output/ looking for dedicated Inputs as part of a GROUP of robots/axes/positioners/NC's operating so global enabling/reset/start etc can be carried out........ ???

The manual I mentioned above, may help 'connect the dots'.

    Hope this helps............
