Hello All! My company has a Motoman robot with an NX100 controller set up to do grinding. We made a copy of the cell with the same robot, HP 50-35, and controller, NX100.
There is some variance between the cells though and I have been trying to use the "relative job"+"User Coordinates" to create a frame in the first cell, then bring the programs over to the second cell.
Before messing with any real programs I created user frame--> made a program--> made the program relative to the user frame--> then changed the user frame to try and shift where the program went.
This is where I fail as no matter where I put the user frame the program always goes to the original position. My question is what exactly am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

I was able to solve the issue. I never realized that after making the job relative I needed to go to the job header and change the user coordinate then change the program from relative to standard under a new name.
