Does anyone know of a way, without robo-guide, of getting DCSPOS.SV "printed out" in text format?
R-30iA or R-30iB
I want to see all the offsets and data of the DCS Cartesian zones. Thanks
DCSPOS.SV

You can connect to the Robot Home page with a browser and view the DCSPOS.VA file. The VA file is an ascii based file that you can read for a lot (all?) of the system files.

Or if you don't want to connect to the robot, just do a backup and open the DCSPOS.VA file. I don't know if they all do, but most all files with a .SV extension have another with a .VA extension. The .VA is the viewable version you can open in notepad. Basically reiterating what DaveP said, but I prefer just doing a backup and opening it on a computer.

Both of those methods worked perfectly for me.
Thank you both very much. -

Thank you both very much.No problem, navigating Fanuc's file system wasn't very easy for me me when I was starting out. It took me awhile to know which files were viewable and which of the SYS______.VA had this or that variable in it if I wanted to look into a backup of an old robot. That's why I use the backup method, because often Im looking something up on a robot we previously installed.
