Hi,
I have a damaged NX100 teach pendant (JZRCR-NPP01-1) that is always detecting that the screen is being pressed. Is there a way to disable the touchscreen completely and use the buttons only?
Thanks

Hi
I know on the Dx200 you can disconnect comms from TP to controller by long pressing the SIMPLE MENU key and then selecting disconnect.
Check the DX200 instructions manual for the section called Disconnection Funtion, so that you can see an example of how the screen looks in the case your screen is cracked and you cannot see the display. Maybe it can work the same for NX100

Hi , you can disconnect the hardware via a plug within the TP.
Note - to shift the cursor around the screen press the [area] key
Along with the [ north . south . east . west ] keys.
Pcarb is correct. Open up the teach pendant and look for a small 4 wire ribbon cable. If the pendant is laying face down, it's on the top section on the left side. Pull it out and carry on.
BTW, it's is a relatively cheap part to replace.
