I have a 64 bit Ubuntu laptop with a 32 bit Windows 7 virtual box installed. I do not have a 9 pin connector on the laptop.
Can I properly run Kfloppy using the software on the virtual box using the 25 pin rs232 port on the front of the RJ2 controller to a 9 in connector then to 9 pin to a USB adapter?
I seems I'm able to upload from a controller but am having comm issues when trying to download to another controller.

I have found the easiest way to consistently be successful with KFloppy is to buy an old XP laptop with a serial port. They can be had for under forty dollars on eBay. They just work. Start trying to deal with a virtual com port = headache. Try to deal with running KFloppy on a virtual machine = headache. I have never had a problem running it over a real serial port on an XP machine.
Just my two cents.

Just for grins I have downloaded Dosbox. Any help with how to make it work would be greatly appreciated. I searched but did not come up with any help.
