Hello to all,
I want to visualize some informations on the iiwa teach pendant while the program is running. I know about logger, but it has only one posibility to show something - one sentence on the new line. It is not the best way how to show informations like actual position for example every one second.
On the KRC4 was possibility to make a loop message - message that will stay on the panel and which can be changed programaticaly. It was enough. But if I know, on the iiwa is available nothing like this.
On the KUKA iiwa training in Augsburg i asked lector about it. He has not enough time to show, but mentioned posibility to create a Java Swing Frame and show it on the teach pendant. It should be possible because all UI on the teach pendant is created using Swing.
Yesterday I tried it. I created simple Swing frame in the run() method, compilation was succesful. But application failed to create a swing frame, error message on the log was: java.awt.headlessexception. It probably means, that Java runtime for robot applications is headless and it is different from the Java runtime which using teach pendant UI.
So my question is: it is possible to use Swing for visualisation in the robot application? Or is there any other possibility how to visualize data like actual position or actual moments (by numbers or graphicaly)?
